Bespoke oil painting effect, photography collection, artistic effects: Oils paint effect, photo to art. Using the creative filter in Photoshop to create cool oil painting effects, taking advantage of brush and lighting options to influence stylisation and bristle detail is a cool way to offer a different outcome to any image, it doesn’t come close to painting in oils but it does offer an alternative to brushing oil over a canvas. No drying time required, no linseed oil, poppy seed oil walnut oil or safflower oil were used in the creation process, all images by John Gilchrist
