Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh
The longest day in the year, the garden was open until 22:00hrs founded in the 17th century as a physic garden. Now it extends over four Gardens boasting a rich living collection of plants, and is a world-renowned centre for plant science and education. further rbge photos here

McEwan’s brewing company. Where beer was once brewed
McEwan’s was the best buy in beer. Fountain Brewery opened by William McEwan in 1856, after a string of mergers this plant is now closed.
