Kevock Vale is a particularly quiet and peaceful place to live. A refuge of peace and quiet for all. The valley of Kevock Vale is wooded and a lovely disused yet restored railway viaduct forms a most impressive backdrop to the park.
Photos taken whilst on a visit to Kings Acre, a unique golf course and academy, located in the Midlothian countryside just six miles from Edinburgh city centre.

Penicuik’s shopping precinct is about the only decent location for skateboarders ....but that does not go down too well with shoppers or businesses in the precinct.

Penicuik’s shopping precinct is about the only decent location for skateboarders ....but that does not go down too well with shoppers or businesses in the precinct.
Midlothian Council held a consultation with young people in the area, which confirmed their desire to have a purpose built skatepark in Penicuik, which could be used by skateboarders, BMX bikers and in-line skaters.
