Edinburgh city looks great in the late evening and by night, watching the city lights coming on one-by-one from high above gives an excellent lofty perspective of a breathtaking scene.

Didn’t realise just how out of condition I was, however the effort was worth it. Just glad I took my flask of coffee, (and torch) for the decent back down; Arthur seats summit is a fantastic vantage point and well worth the challenge, when there is a lovely sunset its even more worthwhile. Tonight, I just made it to the high point as the sun went down so had to settle for some dusk shots from my viewpoint.
