Midlothian Camera Club can be found in the popular town of Lasswade and Bonnyrigg, Midlothian Edinburgh, just eight miles to the south of Edinburgh City Centre and is within easy commuting distance with the Edinburgh City By-Pass being easily accessible together with a regular bus service to and from Edinburgh and many surrounding areas. John Gilchrist is a member of Midlothian Camera Club, at the club both traditional and digital media catered for. Photography Studio Film & Digital The photographic studio is a workspace providing space to take, develop, print and duplicate photographs. Photographic training and the display of finished photographs is accommodated. A darkroom is available.
There are several Midlothian clubs but there is only one Midlothian Camera Club, conveniently located at 7 Polton Road, Lasswade, Midlothian, EH18 1AB, is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Photographers, members meet on Thursday evenings for digital work.Photographers can sign up for sessions of darkroom use, and can use an equipped studio for a small fee. These facilities are available for the use of the members at any time, except for Tuesdays and Thursday evenings and any other dates/times, which may be specified for club meetings.
