Pre-birth shoot Pregnancy Photography is so much fun

A first time for everything! Daryll and Dougie - pre-birth shoot Pregnancy Photography is so much fun, this was such a joy from start to finish. Having never had the opportunity to shoot a maternity session we grabbed the opportunity with both hands. A lovely young couple, so easy to work with, thanks for the letting us be part of the fun and capture your happy moments, you now have us looking forward to our next opportunity.

The shoot was arranged at home and just had to make do with a black backdrop and couple of speedlights. My main concern was having the couple relaxed, if the truth be known they were horizontal, so laid back it was incredible. It did cross our minds that at any given moment the situation could change from relaxed to a more full on “I’M HAVING A BABY” experience, however, all went as planned, and the anxiety’s passed without the need for a mad dash. That said, my wife has always wondered what it would be like to work in a maternity unit, it just wasn’t that time.
