Photography Scotland: Prior to this flypast, the Avro bomber had taken part in display at RAF Leuchars Air Show the previous day. The following day Edinburgh Airport was fortunate to benefit from a flying visit; (pun intended) the Vulcan made a low approach and go around buzzing the tower on its way. On an easterly heading, watching this delta wing subsonic jet disappear into the blue was an unexpected and pleasant surprise to the day. Images available for prchase at my online outlet.
